A morning temple bell

Every morning at 6 AM, the Kasei-no-Kane bell of Osu Kannon echoes gently through the neighborhood. Lost during WWII and restored through local donations in 1966, it has announced the morning in Osu for nearly 60 years — a beloved symbol of the town's revival.

If absolute quiet in the early morning is a priority, this home may not be the best fit. Please keep this in mind before booking.
